10 Days of Anna and Bates - Days 9/10/ Bonus Question

I haven’t been here since Thursday, so I’m just posting all of them together…

Day 9 - Your wishes for series 3

And I want to know WHO killed Vera. I want this mystery to be solved, because I’m dying of suspence. And then of course some Anna/Bates happiness and then some drama, because these two actors are just too brilliant!

Day 10 - Your favourite scene

I’ve already mentioned a lot of my favourite scenes, but I recognized that this one was missing! So…

Anna: Because I love you Mr Bates. I know it’s not ladylike to say so, but I’m not a lady and I don’t pretend to be.

Mr Bates: You are a lady to me. And I never knew a finer one.

Bonus Question - Who do you think murdererd Vera?

Initially I thought Vera killed herself, but I’m not so sure anymore. Anyway, I think the only ones who could somehow be involved with this “incident” would be O’Brien or (of course) Sir Richard. Maybe Lady Mary must come to Mr Bates rescue. She could form a detective agency together with Anna and they could search for evidence… And then they would find a hidden letter from Vera, in which she states that she is going to kill herself. Sir Richard bought that letter and Lady Mary has to pay him to get the evidence….

Then again maybe not… But I guess Julian Fellowes must know what he’s doing (I hope so!) and all we have to do is wait and trust him. (I CAN’T!!!)

So this was fun… I don’t know what I’ll do now…

I guess I have to find another challenge (although I believe there will never be such an awesome one like this. Can please somebody set (?) another challenge! There’s not enough Anna/Bates here!)

10 Days of Anna and Bates - Day 8

A scene that made you cry:

Mr Bates: Will you stay on at Downton?

Anna: [..] If they’ll let me.

Mr Bates: They’ll let you. And you’ll have some money. Mr Murray thinks you can keep it or most of it. I want you to thank his lordship for trying to help me.

Anna: Yes, but what he said…

Mr Bates: He didn’t want to say it. I don’t want to blame him for not lying. Give him my best wishes for the future. And wish all of them well. I don’t want it to get it holded against Mrs Hughes or Miss O’Brien.

Anna: If you think I can ever…

Mr Bates: Even Ms O’Brien. We’ve not been friends, but she doesn’t want me here. Please forgive them.

Anna: I’m not sorry, you know. Not a bit. I would marry you now, if I wasn’t already your wife. I would.

Mr Bates: God knows, I’m not sorry, either. Maybe I should be… No man can regret loving, as I haved loved you.

Bad and cruel guard: NO TOUCHING!

Mr Bates: For Good’s sake, man. You know, where I’m about. How dangerous can this be?
